A flameproof sensor is one specifically housed inside a flameproof enclosure so that should there be an internal spark, heat buildup, or malfunction, this situation will not ignite the flammable atmosphere surrounding the sensor. Sensors are applied for motion detection, temperature sensing, proximity detection, process monitoring, automation triggers, and safety alerts if necessary.

Flameproof enclosure made from high-grade cast aluminum LM6 or stainless steel (SS-304/316), standard grades meet the requirements of Flameproof to make the sensor suitable for Zone 1 & Zone 2 (Gas: IIA, IIB, IIC) areas.

Its robust design ensures excellent corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and long-term reliability in chemically aggressive or moisture-prone environments.
